Winter, our quieter period, is an ideal time for a well-deserved break. Our diligent staff ensures the property remains pristine, and we're excited about the ongoing carpet and flooring project in the Cottages, promising a fresh new look.

Embrace the beauty of winter in Williamsburg with must-see attractions like Christmas Town at Busch Gardens and the enchanting holiday lights in Colonial Williamsburg. Experience the magic of ice skating on Duke of Gloucester Street in the historic area. Warm up by cozy fires with local craft beers or wines from nearby wineries and breweries. And, of course, indulge in some seasonal shopping, whether for last-minute gifts or post-holiday sales.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg

During winter in Williamsburg, Busch Gardens theme park transforms into “Christmas Town.” The entire park becomes one enormous display featuring over ten million lights! This special event is paired with other events like Christmas Town Express, Santa’s Workshop and more.

Ice Skating

Enjoy the Liberty Ice Pavilion—an outdoor ice rink for skaters of all levels. Warm up with hot coffee, tea, or cocoa available on-site. Open daily from November 18 to February 26, including holidays. Nearby Merchants Square offers dining options for a post-skating bite.

Jamestown Settlement

Explore the rich history of Jamestown, a historical site with a deep heritage dating back to the early 1600s. As part of "Christmastide in Virginia," experience period-accurate Christmas decor and learn about the early settlers' celebrations. FEATURED RESORT IMPROVEMENTS

We are always working to improve our facilities and villas. Here is a recap of the work completed or started over the past few months.

Cottages

We’ve begun the installation of new flooring and carpet in the Cottage villas and the work is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2024.
The Cottage Deck staining has continued to give the decks a fresh and clean look.
We installed gutter guards in several Cottage villas.

Townes

We’ve removed trees and shrubs and improved the area with picnic tables and flowers.

We’ve cleared the trees and shrubs on Tranquility Drive to give a cleaner look.

Estates

We’ve made improvements to the drainage in Charlotte Circle for your convenience.
