Dear Ormond Beach Spinnaker Resort Owners,

This is a magical time of year full of family, friends, and making special memories. We are grateful for each of you that have vacationed with us this year and we are looking forward to seeing you again in 2024.

If you will be vacationing with us this winter, we hope you participate in some of the amazing activities in our area. Whether it is the Magic of Lights display at Daytona International Speedway, the Night of Lights in St. Augustine, or the Christmas Trees at the Casements, there is plenty of holiday entertainment throughout the season. Your own Spinnaker Activities Team has also been working hard on decorating the resorts to make your home-away-from-home feel that much more special.

The new Riverfront Esplanade in Daytona Beach opened this year and will be hosting a December to Remember - a holiday light display with over a million lights, movies on the lawn, live music, and Santa! This new area event will be running until January 1st and is a can’t miss!

Magic of Lights

Get ready for a brighter and merrier holiday season with the return of Magic of Lights at Daytona International Speedway! Transforming the Speedway into a dazzling drive-through experience, Magic of Lights boasts dozens of displays, festive favorites, and digital animation, all illuminated with millions of LED lights. From the comfort of your vehicle, enjoy classic holiday scenes like Winter Wonderland, the 12 Days of Christmas, Toyland, festive Elves, Reindeer Road, and new enchanting light tunnels, including a 200-foot-long tunnel of lights. It's a memorable holiday experience for the whole family from November 17th, 2023, through December 31st, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Daytona 500 Speed Week

Daytona Speed Week, held annually in February, is a thrilling weeklong event that kicks off the NASCAR season at Daytona International Speedway. The festivities include various races, culminating in the prestigious Daytona 500, one of the most anticipated events in motorsports. Fans and racing enthusiasts gather to witness high-speed action, intense competition, and the crowning of the Daytona 500 champion, making it a must-attend event for racing aficionados. Experience the heart-pounding excitement and adrenaline-pumping moments that define Daytona Speed Week.

Public Skate at Daytona Ice Arena

Stay warm at the coolest place in town. Experience the thrill of gliding on ice at Daytona Ice Arena! Join us for public ice-skating sessions, where the rink is open for all to enjoy. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a beginner, come embrace the winter spirit and create lasting memories on the ice. Lace up your skates and join the fun through December 31^st.

Annual Fantasy Lights Festival

Illuminate your evenings at the Rotary Club's 18th Annual Fantasy Lights Festival, featuring 55 animated light displays around Central Park Lake. The enchanting spectacle continues nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until December 30^th. Embark on a self-guided walking tour through the dazzling lights, accompanied by festive live and broadcast music. Don't miss Santa's Village and treat yourself to delightful holiday refreshments, available for purchase.

Historic Loop Bus Tours

The Education & Special Events Committees have successfully revived the beloved Historic Loop Bus Tours, now available on the first and third Saturday of each month. Tours are presented by Ormond Beach Historical Society Welcome Center and Museum.

FEATURED RESORT IMPROVEMENTS

We are always working to improve our facilities and villas. Here is a recap of the work completed or started over the past few months.

We’ve added a new bike rack in the Royal Floridian North parking garage for your convenience.
The Royal Floridian South Gathering Room has been repainted to keep it fresh and clean.
We’ve installed new shade sails on the Upper Deck, Tiki Bar and over the Kiddie Pool.
We’ve trimmed the palm trees on the property to keep them healthy and safe.
The sofas and armchairs in the Royal Floridian North and Royal Floridian South have been scheduled to be professionally cleaned.

Todd Bogue Magic & Comedy Show

Magician, comedian and emcee - the Magic and Comedy of Todd Bogue is always the life of the party. Florida's 2018 Magician of the Year recipient, Todd's magic and comedy has received awards and accolades from both partygoers and professional groups alike. Show is 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Royal Floridian South Gathering Room.

Walk to Rockefeller Estate

Take a scenic stroll with us Friday at 10:30 a.m. to the Rockefeller Estate and see the Casements decorated in holiday splendor with a 15' Christmas Tree in the Atrium and over 16 trees in the Tree Gallery.

Remember to make your reservations as early as possible for you to book your most desired vacation time.

To make it easy for you to book your reservation, we provide three ways to do so:

Call us at (877) 842-3201. We are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
