Summer is always the most exciting and busy time of the year in Branson and the Ozarks region. The hills call to hikers and bikers, the lakes call to boaters and fishermen, and Branson calls to anyone wanting entertainment, thrill seeking rides, and general relaxation. Branson is THE vacation destination for all mid-American travelers.

If you've been to your home resort in Branson recently you have seen the latest transformations that have taken place. If you have not been back in some time, now is the time to do so. Come rediscover Branson and what we have to offer both new and old. Branson in the summer is spectacular. Enjoy a wide selection of attractions, farmer's markets, concert series, golf, live shows, and more.

The Branson Farmer's Market combines farm-fresh goodness, hand-crafted products, and local eateries, all in one location that is easily accessible to the Ozark community. Customers can shop for their weekly groceries, find hand-crafted gifts that local artisans make, enjoy local artists' musical talents, and enjoy breakfast and lunch, all within the market's laid-back atmosphere. The Branson market is open on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Branson Landing features a summer concert series and special events throughout the season. In addition, the 15th Annual Liberty Light Up to celebrate Independence Day will be held on July 3rd. The concert will feature Damsel and The Dirty Saints, followed by an amazing, choreographed fireworks display over Lake Taneycomo.

Silver Dollar City's Moonlight Madness offers over 12 hours of nonstop fun every day. Each night, the Echo Hollow show ends with a fireworks display. During Moonlight Madness, you'll find special deals on food and merchandise throughout the park. Moonlight Madness runs July 23rd through August 7th.

We Take Your Comments and Feedback Seriously

All of us at Spinnaker Resorts have only one job to do: that is to provide you with the best vacation experience possible. Ensuring your satisfaction is every staff member's commitment to you. We are interested in your feedback regarding the services provided and the quality of the resort facilities. Did you ever wonder what happens to your surveys and comments once they are sent to us after your vacation? Your comments are valuable and are reviewed and analyzed by our management team. Our goal is to take your feedback as we continually improve our procedures and enhance our resorts so that you can enjoy your vacation. If something needs to be fixed in a villa, this information is forwarded to the maintenance team. If you have requested upgrades to a villa, we consider your feedback when resort improvement planning is taking place.

You receive these surveys via email after every vacation you take with us. Please take a minute to share your comments and suggestions by filling out your Comment Card found in that email. At any time, you can visit your Owners' Website or use this link to fill out the Comment Card. Let us know if you were completely satisfied during your vacation. If you are unable to score us with a Very Satisfied, we would appreciate your written comments telling us why not. If you just want to say you had a lovely time or that a specific employee helped make your vacation special, please let us know. It will make our day brighter. EMPLOYEES WHO CARE

In this section, we will take some time each quarter to introduce you to our corporate and local Spinnaker employees that are working hard every day to help you enjoy your vacation.

On June 30th, Spinnaker Resorts will say a tearful goodbye to an important member of the Spinnaker Family, Comptroller Basil Matthews, as he retires. Throughout his professional career, Basil has dedicated 28 years to the Spinnaker business with his most recent term starting in March of 2000.

Originally from Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and graduating with a degree in Sociology from York University in 1970, Basil worked in finance and accounting before finding his permanent home with Spinnaker Resorts. Basil is a Lifetime Member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and enjoys the problem-solving involved with financial accounting.

In his spare time, Basil enjoys Pilates, walking, power boating, and has a love of sports cars. Basil has been a devoted and loyal employee of Spinnaker Resorts and its entities. His contributions, ideas, and steadfast thinking have been at the forefront of our accounting team. Basil is respected by the ownership team, his peers, and co-workers alike. His skill set, laughter, and humor will be missed. We congratulate Basil and will be thinking fondly of him as he enters his next chapter - surely filled with more travel, boating, and time with family. We wish him well, thank him for his leadership, and hope he will enjoy this time celebrating his achievements and enjoying all life has to offer.
