Dear Branson Spinnaker Resort Owners,

For many, fall in Branson and the Ozarks' Tri-Lakes area is a favorite time of year. As the temperatures cool and our Mark Twain National Forrest foliage paints beautiful shades of orange, yellow, and brown we all get to experience the change of seasons the area is well known for.

Outdoors is where it’s at in SW Missouri. If you’re looking for adventure, Branson
has plenty of action filled activities for everyone. Whether you enjoy ziplining, hiking, biking, kayaking, or car racing you will find many fun-filled exhilarating things to do here in Branson. Branson has its adventures, but it also has activities designed for the less adventurous such as fishing, golfing, boating and several shows appropriate for even the youngest members of your family. If you love fall you won’t want to miss the Silver Dollar City’s Harvest Festival in Branson starting September 21, 2022 - October 9, 2022. During the day there will be artisans displaying their fall designs with many seasonal desserts and treats. Barry Brown will be carving pumpkins into beautiful intricate designs while Rock On Ice create ice sculptures you have to see to believe. In the evening you will be surrounded by thousands of illuminated pumpkins, more seasonal treats, and several fun rides the entire family will enjoy.

Branson is the place for fall fun and excitement. Take a tour through a pumpkin patch at Shepherd’s Pumpkin Fest, learn how to decorate your pumpkin, go on a hayride and much more. The Shepherd’s Pumpkin Fest is September 23, 2022 - October 30, 2022.

Branson is known for many things, and one special highlight is Veterans Homecoming Week held every fall. This year the veteran celebrations will be held November 5-11, 2022. There will be concerts, reunions, dinners, activities, and Branson’s annual Veteran’s Day Parade will be held in Downtown Branson.

EMPLOYEES WHO CARE

In this section, we will take some time each quarter to introduce you to our corporate and local Spinnaker employees that are working hard every day to help you enjoy your vacation.

Jolene Johnson

Jolene Johnson recently celebrated her five-year anniversary with Spinnaker Resorts. She is a beloved employee at Spinnaker. She works in housekeeping taking care of the rooms and the front area of the resort where she has cultivated relationships with Owners throughout the years. Jolene has lived in Missouri for the past 20 years and was drawn to Spinnaker Resorts because of the employees and the great benefits.

“The people I work with, and the Owners are so nice,” Johnson said. “It’s just like a family.” She mentioned she sees the same people year after year and they update her on how they are doing. One day Jolene saw two men sitting downstairs and when the men got up a wallet was left behind. She grabbed the wallet and went running after them just in time, because they were about to head out of town. Jolene enjoys chatting with the guests and making them comfortable. If they need something they know she’s always available. In her spare time Jolene enjoys planting flowers and bushes in her garden.
