The fun and festive fall season is upon us after a fantastic summer season. Our team has been working hard on exciting new programs to offer and we have already begun the planning and preparations for your resort holiday decorations and festivities.

We are excited to share with you that Hilton Head Island was voted 2021’s Travel + Leisure’s #1 Island in the Continental U.S. for the fifth time! We know that you understand why the island gets this great rating. Whether it’s the wide open and pristine beaches that provide ample ways to play and relax, or the miles of bike paths, or the golf or tennis – the island’s preserved lushness is a comforting haven for anyone who spends time here.

The fall weather brings us sunshine, warm temperatures, and plenty to see and do on the island and the surrounding area. With 24 golf courses and many highly praised restaurants, we are sure a visit will provide a fantastic island getaway for you and your family. The centuries-old love story between man and machine has no better showcase than at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival where over 500 cars, boats, motorcycles, and aircraft are exhibited during the first weekend of November. If you haven’t yet vacationed or made reservations to stay at the resorts this year, make plans now.

Hilton Head Island's own Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival is back and offers the best of the best in automotive exhibition, dining, and luxury lifestyle. It's more than just an event, it's a multi-day world-class destination experience. And you must be there to experience life's finest moments, curated, elevated, and refined. Some classics at the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance

Are you a foodie? Then check this out ... The Old Country comes to the Lowcountry! This yearly festival celebrates the rich heritage of Italian people with delicious food, music, competitions, and games. The Italian Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday Oct 23, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn.

One of the precautions we implemented was to remove many of our in-villa items including the ever-so-resourceful Villa Directory. We know many of you find the directory invaluable as your resource for villa and resort information as well as local area information. We didn’t want you to go without this guide so have created a digital Villa Directory.

FEATURED RESORT IMPROVEMENTS

We always appreciate your input from the Comment Cards and when you share your experiences on Facebook. Our staff is working hard to make some upgrades you will look forward to enjoying. Here are just a few of the many resort upgrades performed last quarter.

Bluewater Resort and Marina

Corn hole game area was redesigned and repaired
Horseshoe pit was repaired and improved
New sauna heater, lava rock, sauna controls, teak flooring, bucket, and ladle were installed in the Sauna
Indoor pool was resurfaced and tile renovation was completed
New upgraded and code compliant sprinkler system was installed in indoor pool area
New Klipsch speakers were installed in the Indoor Pool
New bar height tables and chairs were placed at end of the dock
New polywood tables and chairs were placed at the waterside Cabana
Additional pool deck furniture was installed around the lazy river pool
New rocking chairs were added at both outdoor pools
New ADA pool lift was installed at Outdoor Pool by the Activities Center
Outdoor Pool was resurfaced and tile renovation completed
Deck was replaced at the Activities Center
Black out shades were installed in the 6200 Building
18 villa water heaters were installed in the 6100 Building between June and July
6100 Building exteriors and patios were power washed
Sidewalk lighting was painted and recoated
Received new golf cart for Housekeeping

6 new Bose outdoor speakers were installed around the Main Pool with music linked
8 new bike racks were placed throughout the resort to accommodate increased demand
Pressure washed all green roofs
Pruned all palms
Brighter bulbs were replaced in all villas of four buildings
New fire and safety panel was installed in the 5800 Building
Wired 5200 Building garage in anticipation of new employee golf carts
Received two new golf carts for onsite operations
5300 Building garage drainage was fixed with all eight floor drains
New wicker chairs were installed in 60 villas
Five bathroom ceilings were painted
ADA ranges were installed in villas 5314 and 5514
Taco Food truck is onsite for every "Taco Tuesday"

New! Murder Mystery

Join us by the Main Pool at Waterside Resort to take part in our NEW Murder Mystery! Come ready to assume the part of one of the characters and spend the evening sifting through evidence, listening to testimonies and using your detective skills to uncover the age-old question of "Who done it?" Sign up in advance as space is limited.

Hot Dog Lunch

Come down and grab a delicious hot dog right off the grill. Each meal includes chips, a drink and desert. The recreation crew is ready to cook for you.

Alligator Talk

Would you like to learn more about one of the most misunderstood creatures on Hilton Head? While you are staying at Bluewater Resort & Marina or Waterside Resort, come join our recreation crew as they talk about the American Alligator and answer any questions you may have regarding these majestic beasts!

Golf Partnerships and Discounts:

Through our partnerships with Brown Golf Management and Heritage Golf, booking discount golf has never been easier. With Brown Golf our Owners can book directly online on our partnered website up to two weeks before your arrival. You will receive incredible savings off their best rate using our exclusive discount code upon check-out. These courses include: Palmetto Hall (2 courses- Arthur Hills and Robert Cupp), Dolphin Head, and Pine Crest. While at the resort our Owners and Guests can also receive a Book of Savings that offers you discounts for the Heritage Golf Collection which includes: Shipyard (Clipper, Galleon, and Brigantine), Port Royal (Robber’s Row and Barony) and Oyster Reef Club. With so many of you excited to make up for little or no travel last year and ready to enjoy mother nature and our spectacular resorts, we ask you to make your reservations as early as possible. We encourage all Owners to provide plenty of lead time when booking or banking their usage. We don’t want you to miss out on your desired vacation.

To make it easy for you to book your reservation, we provide three ways to do so:

Simply complete a Reservation Request Form, found on your Owners' website under FORMS
Email us at [email protected] with your preferred location and dates
Call us at (877) 842-3201. We are available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT

SPINNAKER REWARDS

Do you have Spinnaker Rewards Credits? You don't have to wait until December to allocate your SRCs for 2022 HOA fees. Remember, you only need a minimum of 60 SRCs to redeem them.

You can lower your Association Fees or earn free vacations with Spinnaker Rewards, the incredible rewards program from Spinnaker Resorts. Are you taking advantage of this unique Owner benefit? If not, you should!

We’ve had Owners pay their entire Association Fee for the year using Spinnaker Rewards Credits (SRCs)! And other Owners have received a free week vacation using their Rewards Credits.
