Dear Branson Spinnaker Owners,

Greetings from the Ozarks' music and entertainment mecca - Branson, MO! We are just coming out of our summer and fall seasons in Branson. The summer was crazy busy and buzzed right past us and the fall was our typical beautiful Oak, Maple, and Persimmon gold, yellow, and red leaf color change like no other. We hope you were here to have experienced both seasons and take home with you memories that will last forever.

We are now just wrapping up the wonders of the Christmas show season and the dazzling millions of lights shown nightly at Silver Dollar City. And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the new spectacle of Branson having now become America's Christmas Tree City, a sight no one should miss.

Things will be quieting down some in Branson at the New Year. However, we are not entirely void of things to do in the "quiet season". This is really a great time to just get away following the holidays and have some quiet time of your own. Come see us to just lay back, take in a movie, read a book, go on a hike, or get some great post-holiday shopping deals. We are here and would love nothing more than to see you sometime in January or February before it all gets started again when family Spring Break travel returns to the Ozarks.

Tis the season to see the dazzling Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City!

Don’t wait! Call your Owner Services team today to make your reservation for the coming year. We encourage all Owners to provide plenty of lead time when booking or banking their usage. We don’t want you to miss out on your desired vacation.

To make it easy for you to book your reservation, we provide three ways to do so:

  1. Simply complete a Reservation Request Form, found on your Owners' website under FORMS
  2. Email us at [email protected] with your preferred location and dates
  3. Call us at (877) 842-3201. We are available Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

  • Hilton Head and Branson reservations from November 1st through February 28th may be made more than 30 days prior to check-in (up to one year in advance). Other reservations can be made 30 days or less, prior to check-in date. Bluewater, Royal Floridian South and Palace View Heights Owner Bonus Time are available for Spinnaker Premier Owners only.

The whole Branson area is waiting with excitement for the many fun and exciting new area attractions to open in the near future. Silver Dollar City will be celebrating its 60th Diamond Jubilee in 2020, debuting a new $31-million Mystic River Falls featuring the tallest drop in the Western Hemisphere! Construction continues on the Aquarium at the Boardwalk, which will feature a coral reef, saltwater tanks, an interactive touch pool, and mysteries of the deep to be enjoyed by all. Highly anticipated is the opening of Wonderworks-Branson, a science focused indoor amusement park combining education and entertainment with over 100 hands-on exhibits for all ages to explore. With all the fun new attractions, 2020 promises to be a grand year to plan a visit to Branson. If you haven’t booked your vacation yet, don’t wait any longer!

Branson Celebrates Christmas

Visit Silver Dollar City and see the millions of lights throughout the winter season. Enjoy music, dozens of costumed characters, and ’Rudolph’s Holly Jolly™ Christmas Light Parade’. This event is voted the nation’s “Best Theme Park Holiday Event” in a USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice poll. If you haven’t planned to visit us this Christmas make sure you don’t miss this activity next year.

Our resort staff has begun to start our annual "off" season projects that include deep cleaning of all units and annual maintenance punch of all units. This will provide staff with time to more intently evaluate the working conditions of appliances and other electronics to assure all is in good working order. These projects during the off-season get the full effort and attention of all our Branson Southwind Management employees.

Palace View

  • Building 700 interior unit renovations (December 2019 - March 2020)
    • New tile flooring is being installed
    • New carpeting is being installed
    • New living room furniture is being installed
    • New kitchen ranges are being installed
    • Full unit is being repainted
    • Installation of new flat-screen TVs
    • Installation of new kitchen granite counter tops and under mount sinks
    • New bedroom furniture is being installed

Resort Environmental Update

While we haven’t made a big splash of it, there have been many efforts taken over the last few years to show how much Spinnaker Resorts is committed to the environment. We have been green focused in everything we do. What follows is just one example of a test we are conducting at Royal Floridian South to show our commitment to make a difference for our environment and our planet.

One of our goals is to eliminate plastic waste throughout our resorts. As a company last year we disposed of or had our guests remove and discard approximately 180,000 two ounce plastic bottles of shampoo with conditioner. That’s a significant amount of plastic waste. So at Royal Floridian South (Ormond Beach, FL), we have begun to test a new shampoo refillable dispenser. They were installed throughout the building the week of December 8 – 13, 2019. Each refillable dispenser holds 19 ounces and is refilled from a one gallon recyclable bottle. If this test for the durability and manageability of the product is successful and we deploy this solution throughout our resorts, including Branson, we will only use 2,800 gallon bottles of shampoo a year which can be recycled, thereby reducing the amount of plastic waste that goes to landfills by over 177,000 plastic bottles in one year alone! Just look at how many plastic two ounce bottles one gallon replaces.

So you can see that while we haven’t made a big deal of our efforts, we are very proud of the difference we are making for the environment and the planet and as Owners we want you to feel proud as well! Stay tuned as we bring you more of our exciting efforts in upcoming editions of your newsletter.

Paint like no one is watching. Create a custom wooden nameplate, or learn how to paint a one of a kind winter scene to give as a gift or to put up at your home.
