Hello Spring!

With the weather much of the country was experiencing the last few months, it may have felt like winter would last forever, but spring has awakened! With a blast of sunshine and a breath of fresh air, nature seems to be saying that it is time to live, time to breathe, and time to enjoy all that life has to offer.

As Owners return to the island and their home away from home, there is much to be enjoyed with all the many improvements that we've made during the fall and winter months. From new roofs at The Cottages, Egret Point and Southwind; to the completion of building refurbishments and renovations at Carolina Club; fresh paint at Waterside and other resorts; and new sofas at Bluewater - one doesn't need to look far.

So, get excited! Make your reservations and get ready to enjoy yourselves, unwind, relax, and recharge!

Owner Services/Reservations

We encourage all Owners to provide plenty of lead time when booking or banking usage. This ensures that you get the most desirable vacation dates possible. To make your reservation, simply complete a Reservation Request Form, found on your Owners' website under FORMS, email us at [email protected], or call Reservations at (877) 842-3201.

Developer Owner Bonus Time

We hope that you make the most of your Developer Owner Bonus Time privileges. Please contact Owner Services/Reservations regarding availability and program details. Look for rates on your Owners' website under BONUS TIME. Here are booking windows by region:

• Hilton Head - Developer Owner Bonus Time reservations can be made 30 days or less from arrival. For fall/winter dates (November through February and excluding holidays), Hilton Head Developer Owner Bonus Time can be booked up to a year in advance

• Ormond Beach - Developer Owner Bonus Time reservations can be made 30 days or less from arrival

• Branson - Developer Owner Bonus Time reservations can be made 30 days or less from arrival. For fall/winter dates (November through February and excluding holidays), Branson Developer Owner Bonus Time can be booked up to a year in advance

Local News

Your visit to Hilton Head Island just got easier! Palmetto Breeze Public Transportation is providing trolley service from Coligny Beach Plaza to Shelter Cove. The service begins March 15! View here for more information.

The RBC Heritage is April 15-21. Enjoy the food, drinks and golf. Be a part of the fun because this event is known as Hilton Head Island's biggest party of the year!

You're Invited! Hop over to the Bluewater Resort & Marina for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Friday, April 19. The event is open to all Spinnaker Owners and Guests staying at our Hilton Head resorts. All participants (ages 2-14) will meet at the Dockside Pavilion for Check-in. The start whistle blows at 11:00 a.m. sharp. See you there!

It's time to reduce, reuse and recycle. While visiting the island you will notice changes in stores and restaurants. We need your help. Please think about BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag)! View here for more information.

The Whiskey Room! What is it? Located next to the Charbar in Park Plaza, right before the main entrance to Sea Pines Plantation is a roaring 20s speakeasy venue. You can enjoy brands of whiskey such as "Hotsy Totsy", "The Bee's Knees" and more! We hear it's amazing!

Escape from the cold with new direct flights to Hilton Head Island Airport! Delta, United and American Airlines are offering visitors options so you can plan your next vacation. See you soon!

Resort News

We've been busy bees at the Bluewater, Carolina Club, The Cottages, Egret Point, Southwind, and Waterside resorts. The renovations below have been completed or are planned for 2019. Your feedback helps us make these improvements. We thank you.

Bluewater

• 6300 Building has converted to LED lights
    - All Buildings are now completed

• 6100 Building 3 Bedroom villas received new living room sofas

• 6200 & 6300 Building villas received new living room sofas and chairs

• 6200 & 6300 Building Corridor Improvements have been completed
    - Carpet runner has been installed
    - Tile installed at elevator landings has been completed

• 6200 & 6300 Building villa interiors have been repainted

• 6400 Building rock retaining wall (behind building) improvements have been completed

Carolina Club

• Refurbishments and renovations have been completed at all villas

• Renovations included:
    - Replacement of kitchen cabinets
    - Installation of new granite countertops
    - Removal and installation of new tile in villa entry/kitchen and bathrooms
    - Carpet replacement throughout villas
    - New paint colors applied on all walls

• Refurbishments included:
    - Replacement of dining room table, chairs, and bar stools
    - Addition of new artwork and floral arrangements

The Cottages

• Window screens have been installed at all villas

• Roof replacements at all buildings have been completed

• Spa repairs and renovation to be completed spring 2019

Egret Point

• 4400 & 4500 Building exteriors have been repainted

• Roof Replacements have been completed throughout resort

Southwind Villas

• 3300 & 3400 Building exterior repairs and repainting have been completed

• Roof replacements have been completed throughout the resort

Waterside

• 5600, 5700 & 5800 Building interior refurbishments and renovations have been completed

• Refurbishments and renovations included:
    - New carpet and/or faux wood tile
    - Interior painting
    - Kitchen granite countertop
    - New living room and dining room furniture
    - New artwork
    - Installation of 49" Flat Screen Smart TVs

• 5700 & 5800 Building corridor improvements have been completed
    - Tile at elevator landings and carpet runners have been installed

• Application of decorative surface at all Building garage level elevator landings

• 5100 Building exterior painting and repairs have been completed

• 5700 Building exterior painting has been completed

• Patio furniture replacement has been completed at all villas

• 5800 Building Pool resurfacing and waterline tile replacement has been completed

• Addition of Fitness Room at Waterside Activities Center

Resort Activities

Get ready to spring into action at Spinnaker Resorts! The Activities team wants you to say yes to new adventures! Here are our most popular activities.

Aqua Fitness: It is one of our most popular programs year after year! This wonderful no-impact form of exercise is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Our guests love working off those vacation calories while having fun in the water with our recreation staff.

Nintendo Switch Games: As a courtesy to our vacationing parents, we are more than happy to make your life easier by giving you the ability to assure your Gamers won't have to remain unplugged the entire time you are on your family vacation. Experienced players and beginners are welcome to join our recreation staff and enjoy challenging one another in a variety of today's top video games.

Group Kayak Paddle: Exclusive to our Bluewater Resort and Marina location, guests can enjoy a guided kayak paddle on the scenic Skull Creek archeological site. Local wildlife abounds and paddlers are often treated to sightings of amazing creatures. You may see a bald eagle, a White-tailed deer, bottlenose dolphins and even an occasional pod of manatee during the warmer months. Space is limited, be sure to reserve your spot early in the week with our recreation staff. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to enjoy a unique experience that is sure to become one of your favorite vacation memories of Hilton Head Island.
