Dear Spinnaker Owner,

As we head toward the close of 2019, thoughts of the past year turn to the major events
and memories experienced during the year. We hope that these memories include
Spinnaker vacations of fun‐filled days and happy times captured forever on cameras and in
photographs.

Many of our Owners faced threatening weather conditions early in the year with strong
winter blizzard conditions, then damaging spring rain storms, then strong tornadic
conditions in the mid‐west. In the beginning of September on the east coast, the threat of
Hurricane Dorian caught our attention and Hilton Head and Ormond Beach Owners and
staff were forced to evacuate. In these situations Southwind Management is faced with a
variety of challenges ranging from Owner reservation changes to hurried preparations for
the protection of your property and business assets. For those Owners who experienced
interruption of or cancellation of your vacation, we thank you for your understanding and
patience. The good news is that our resorts in Branson, Hilton Head and Ormond Beach
were able to carry on without any property issues and were able to continue to provide
you the vacation facilities you have come to expect and enjoy.

In the best of and difficult circumstances, we hope you know that your Southwind
Management resort staff work exceptionally hard to provide you, our valued Owner, the
most enjoyable vacation experience possible, and to make every day with us at Spinnaker
Resorts a “Great Day”. We are proud to serve you and want to thank you for being a part
of the Spinnaker resorts family.

As we end 2019 and approach a new decade, a few of the significant accomplishments
over the last decade come to mind.

  • In Branson we added 88 new units, an Owner’s club house, an outdoor pool as
    well as a sports court amenity at Palace View Heights. Refurbishment of the
    Palace View units has commenced and the 200, 300 and 400 Buildings’
    Refurbishment Projects have been completed. Plans are in place to refurbish
    the 700 Building this year with plans to complete the balance of Palace View by
    Spinnaker and Palace View South units over the next several years.
  • In Hilton Head 97 new units were built at Bluewater along with an amazing lazy
    river pool, hot tub and splash pad, a sports court (basketball, pickle ball etc.) ,
    and shuffle board and bocce ball amenities. Refurbishment of interior units at
    Waterside, Carolina Club, Egret Point and Southwind took place.
  • In Ormond Beach in 2011, the Royal Floridian South building was delivered with
    53 new units. At Royal Floridian Resort in 2010 a total balcony and walkway
    concrete restoration took place along with the installation of hurricane impact
    windows, in 2015 major repairs of the parking garage, upper pool deck and
    seawall were completed; new recreational amenities were installed on the
    upper pool deck including the mini‐putt golf course, basketball court, shuffle
    board court, shade sail installs and a splash pad. In 2017, a major 4‐phase
    project involving a redesign and complete refurbishment of units was started.

We now have over 6100 Owners who have opted to go paperless and forego a mailed
statement and to instead receive an electronic notification for delivery of your 2020
Association Fee statement. Electing to go paperless saves your association mailing costs
and supports Spinnaker’s ongoing effort to “go green”. If you have not yet opted to “go
green”, you will have received an email statement notification that provides a link to a
form for Paperless Opt‐in for your future consideration.

Enclosed is your 2020 Association billing statement including future reservation
information, your Spinnaker Rewards balance and Association payment options. With our
efforts to “go green” we will be pleased to provide a copy of your resort’s 2020 detailed
budget upon request. To request a copy email [email protected]
