With autumn approaching, we are embracing cooler weather and a fresh lineup of activities. Pickleball is now available. Connect with our activities team to sign up and join the fun. We’ve also introduced a brand-new scavenger hunt designed for families and friends to explore the resort and nearby Ormond Beach attractions. Be sure to attend Monday morning orientation to grab your scavenger hunt pack and helpful tips.

Beyond the resort, the area is buzzing with fall events. Daytona Beach lives up to its name as the Festival Capital of Florida, with exciting events like Biketoberfest, the Halifax Art Festival, the Greek Festival, and the Riverfest Seafood Festival.

This season also brings the Royal Floridian and Royal Floridian South Board of Director elections, a valuable opportunity for Owners to help guide the future of the resort. Watch your inbox for candidate profiles and voting instructions. Royal Floridian Resort Owners will also vote on a proposed amendment to the smoking policy, so your input is appreciated.

As part of Ormond Beach’s First Saturday Art Walk, this event brings together local artists, musicians, and makers for an evening of live performances, engaging exhibits, and community connection at 78 E Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach.

Lexi began his journey in 2000 as a Management Trainee and has grown into one of our most respected leaders. His role with the company has grown over the years as he has increasingly taken on more responsibility, going from Operations Manager at the Royal Floridian Resort to Executive Director of Resort Operations.
 
Lexi currently oversees resort operations across our Ormond Beach, Hilton Head Island, and Williamsburg resorts. His leadership has had a lasting impact on our teams, our guests, and our company culture.

Resort management is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards across the property. Recent efforts have focused on enhancing both villas and shared facilities to ensure comfort, safety, and an exceptional experience for all Owners and Guests.

 

Below is a summary of the work completed.

 

Royal Floridian North and Royal Floridian South

• Installed new beach access gates for both Royal Floridian and Royal Floridian South.
• Indoor pool bathroom remodel completed. 
  
• Added a second grill at Royal Floridian South to accommodate demand.
  
• Launched a Guest Messaging Service that allows Owners to contact the Front Desk by text during their vacations.
• The “Red Electrical Door” along the ramp to the parking garages has been replaced for better safety and curb appeal.
• The extensive Sun Deck concrete restoration project has progressed significantly this year and is nearing completion, wrapping up a multi-year effort to enhance this popular outdoor space.

Our weekly event runs Friday through Thursday, with a kickoff Orientation every Monday at 9:30 a.m. to welcome new participants and share all the details. 

 

The excitement builds throughout the week, culminating in a grand finale Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. when the event officially wraps, and prizes are awarded on the pool deck. Don’t miss the chance to join the fun and win big.

 

Featured Activity: Water Aerobics

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m., join our team for an hour of directed water aerobics. Check Activities Board for Pool (Indoor or Outdoor depending on the weather conditions). Come splash, stretch, and strengthen with a great group in a supportive, low-impact environment. It's a great way to stay active, cool off, and meet new friends.
