It has been a wonderful summer here on Hilton Head Island, blessed with abundant sunshine and the occasional afternoon shower that nourishes our tropical paradise. Our Spinnaker Resorts team has truly enjoyed welcoming you, ensuring your visit was comfortable, memorable, and giving you the feeling of a “home away from home.”

We hope you enjoyed your summer stays as much as we enjoyed having you here, and we’re excited to share a few updates about what’s ahead!

As we look to the winter season, our team has been hard at work planning renewal and refresh projects for the villas at each resort. Our management staff is currently finalizing specifications and securing contractor bids for these improvements. As with any refresh, work will be completed in phases, and we’ll provide more details in future updates.

In the meantime, fall remains a beautiful time to visit Hilton Head Island. With cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and the same breathtaking scenery, it’s the perfect season for peaceful beach walks, rounds of golf, relaxing afternoons by the pool with a good book, and enjoying the island’s many fine restaurants, without the summer hustle and bustle.

Congratulations to Lexi Bairstow for 25 years of exceptional service at Spinnaker Resorts
Lexi began his journey in 2000 as a Management Trainee and has grown into one of our most respected leaders. His role with the company has grown over the years as he has increasingly taken on more responsibility, going from Operations Manager at the Royal Floridian Resort to Executive Director of Resort Operations.
 
Lexi currently oversees resort operations across our Ormond Beach, Hilton Head Island, and Williamsburg resorts. His leadership has had a lasting impact on our teams, our guests, and our company culture.
 
We are grateful for Lexi’s dedication, calm guidance, and continued commitment to excellence.

Bluewater Resort and Marina

• The wood for the dock and along the lagoon has been replaced.
• The pier deck has been power washed to enhance safety and scenery.
  
• Shuffleboard pad has been replaced for smoother, safer play.
  
• Pools have been power washed and main deck repainted for refreshed appeal.
  
• Trash compactor walls have been painted to improve cleanliness.
• The front office and lounge area received a fresh coat of paint, creating a more welcoming space for Owners and guests to check in and relax.

New shuffleboard pad installed for a better, safer game experience.

Egret Point

• Bike closet doors were freshly painted across multiple buildings to boost curb appeal.
  
• Concrete slabs have been  poured behind 4425 and 4427 villas for safer access.
• Improved insulation installed under the 4400 Building for better energy efficiency.
  
• Annual villa maintenance completed for continued care and functionality.
• New gutters have been installed on the back of the 4400 Building to help prevent erosion and better manage rainwater runoff.

Southwind

• New insulation has been installed under the 3200 Building to improve energy efficiency and comfort.
  
• Annual villa maintenance completed for continued care and functionality.
• Tiles at the entry of the 3106 villas have been replaced, improving safety and enhancing the villa’s appearance.

Carolina Club

• Carolina Club Activity Center has been freshly painted.
  
• Annual villa maintenance completed for continued care and functionality.

The Cottages

• New rain diverters have been installed on all units.
• Annual villa maintenance completed for continued care and functionality.
• Roof repairs have been completed on the 114 villa, ensuring better protection and preventing potential water damage.

Waterside

• A new grill has been installed at the pool area, offering an upgraded space to gather and cook out during your stay.

Join Director of Fun, Eric Holland, and his team for a festive lineup of activities designed to celebrate autumn on Hilton Head. Featured Bluewater Activity: Live Music with Wine & Cheese 
Every Friday night from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., gather at the pier-side Pavilion by the fire pit for an evening of wine, cheese, and live music. Enjoy a sumptuous charcuterie assortment, sip delicious wine, and take in the water views as you relax to the sounds of local performers. The fire pit will be lit, and s’mores will be available for a sweet treat.

Waterside Featured Activity: Paint & Sip
