Guest Services Agent (Full-Time + Summer Incentive Pay), Williamsburg VA

Spinnaker’s Kings Creek Resort in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia is hiring for a full-time Guest Services Agent with a Summer Incentive Bonus of an additional $3.00 per hour.



The Guest Services Agent will deliver outstanding customer service to our owners and guests.  This position is responsible for upholding Kings Creek standards and practices. They are to provide meaningful and positive interactions with guests from the phone, during check-in, throughout the duration of the stay and finally to the conclusion during the check-out process.


  1. Participate in daily operations of the Front Desk, including but not limited to the front desk check list, answering phone calls, checking guests in and out, and creating positive and helpful interactions with our owners and guest.
  2. Know the general roles and responsibilities of corporate departments, manager and directors.
  3. Support our “guest service approach” by ensuring guests are called from the wait list for early check-in as soon as possible.
  4. Follow all ADA rules as they pertain to Service Animals.
  5. Provide detailed work orders through HotSOS along with exceptional follow-up to all guests requiring this service.
  6. Ensure safety and security for all of our guests and owners.
  7. Ensure all cash is secure at the front desk.
  8. Ensure package handling and check requests are done following proper procedures.
  9. Have knowledge of the RCI and II exchange process, ownership, inventory and rental types to include 3rd party intermediaries along with booking rules and processes in order to better assist our guest and owners.
  10. Provide constant communication with the marketing team with regards to tour guests experiencing any issues.
  11. Have complete understanding of Golf privileges.
  12. Communicate clearly and precisely with both owners/guests and interdepartmentally.
  13. Be informative and suggestive with good local area knowledge and general information about our properties.
  14. Accurately check in guests and provide them with a positive start to their vacation experience.
  15. Post payments to guest folios, ensuring that the guests have paid for their stay prior to checking in, that all assessment dues are collected and obtain appropriate authorizations for incidentals.
  16. Give a professional and warm farewell to our guests.


  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Neat clean appearance, warm, welcoming, friendly and outgoing personality.
  3. Good Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, email, and general computer skills.
  4. Verbal and written communication skills for interaction with owners, guests, vendors, employees, and the general public, using tact and poise.
  5. Follows directions with accuracy and positive attitude.
  6. On time for scheduled shifts and always shows up for work.
