JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Confirmations Representative confirms dates of travel for all guests who are within 21 days of arrival.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make outbound calls (or receive in bound calls) to guests to confirm dates of travel
  • Inform guests of trade ups and discounts and make the exchange over the phone
  • Re-verify that customers are qualified
  • Re-schedule travel date if needed
  • Offer incentives to not cancel
  • Participate in training as required
  • Represent the company in a Positive and Professional manner
  • Perform other related duties & special projects as requested
  • Participate in cross training in other marketing departments (Food & Beverage, Front or Tour Desk)
  • Provide backup as needed in Food & Beverage, Front or Tour Desk.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be computer literate
  • Open availability for all shift times & days (7 days a week).

 

OPTIONAL SKILLS A PLUS

  • Knowledge of Spinnaker Resorts and or the timeshare industry
  • Prior experience in Customer Service, Sales or Telemarketing
