Event:  Team Trout Championship
Description:  Team Trout Championship is an annual fishing tournament that is open to the public every year. Lake Taneycomo is a cold water lake that offers great rainbow and brown trout fishing.  Tournament rules allow artificial baits only, and it is a catch-and-release tournament. The entry fee is $50 for each two-man team. Cash prices and trophies are awarded to the top four teams. Big Trout Pots are also awarded for the heaviest brown trout and rainbow trout.

Event:  14th Annual Branson Tri-Lakes Building and Home Show
Description:  For 14 years, this first class consumer show has been hosting all of the area’s leading building companies in one location to bring you everything from home improvement, remodeling, landscaping, home security, kitchen and bath and so much more! This year could contain the most vendors and attendees yet! The three day event will include vendor booths, prizes, seminars and special guests.

Event:  See The World In Branson – No Passport Needed!
Description:  “See The World In Branson” during April and May, a new annual Ozark Mountain Spring event highlighting the vast amount of internationally-inspired entertainment, attractions and cuisine available to the visitors who come to the Branson area. Visitors will enjoy cultural experiences in entertainment and tradition without actually having to travel abroad. Come experience Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Samoan and American cultures – among others, within a single visit to Branson!

Event:  Ironman 70.3 Branson
Desciption:  On September 19, 2010, the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Branson will serve as one of 34 worldwide qualifying events for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, Fla. Professional athletes will be competing for a $25,000 prize purse.

Attraction:  The Cat’s Pajamas
Description:  An award-winning vocal band quartet, described as revolutionizing a capella performance, has been seen all over the world.

Attraction:  The Legend of Kung Fu
Description:  With a cast of over 50 performers and a designated show of the Beijing Olympics, this show shares the ancient art of Kung Fu in a theatrical setting, combining martial arts and the elegance of Cirque-like acrobatics.  With over 3,000 performances in China, Australia, Vancouver, and London thus far, it is set for a May debut in Branson at The White House Theatre, recently renovated to house this large-scale production.

Attraction:  Cirque Montage
Description:  Amazed! Dazzled! Captivated!  Montage is a grand show of circus daring and skill – comprised of former artists of Cirque du Soleil. Our world class artists have performed in “Mystere”, “O”, “Saltimbanco”, “KA”, “Alegria” and “Quidam”.  Acts include our aerial chiffon performer dangling from high above the stage, incredible contortionists transforming their bodies in ways never thought possible, pole climbers supporting themselves horizontally only by their wrists with nothing but twenty feet of air separating them from the floor. This is just the beginning of your journey into our world of Cirque entertainment.

Attraction:  Tom and Huck’s RiverBlast
Description:  Silver Dollar City opens its new $7 million ride – America’s Biggest Water Battle, a supersoaking water raft ride themed around the adventures of fun-loving, mischief-makers Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. A friendly warning – you will get wet!

Attraction:  Ozark Medieval Fortress
Description:  Have you ever dreamed of medieval castles? Based on an original project in Europe, a hideaway in the Ozark Mountains just south of Branson is being prepared for the Ozark Medieval Fortress, an entertaining and educational attraction. A team of historians, architectural experts and builders is constructing a genuine fortified castle, with towers, a drawbridge, moats, with stone walls surrounding - using the techniques and materials of the 12th century. Thirty masons, carpenters, and stone carvers will work all year around for twenty years, the time required to build the castle.
